Buying or selling property in Portugal involves a number of legal, tax and administrative steps. I provide personal assistance throughout the process, helping clients understand the documentation and procedures involved and ensuring that the necessary formalities are properly handled.
Based in the Algarve and practising as a Solicitor since 2011, I assist both international and Portuguese clients with property transactions in Portugal, including clients who are unable to be present personally.

If you require bank financing for your property purchase, I will assist with the process and the necessary documentation, and coordinate with the bank or mortgage provider throughout the transaction to help ensure that the financing and property purchase progress together.

Buying or selling property in Portugal from abroad
You do not need to be in Portugal to buy or sell a property. With a power of attorney, I will represent you throughout the entire property transaction and handle the necessary legal and administrative procedures on your behalf, without requiring you to be personally present in Portugal.

Bank financing for international buyers
If you are based abroad and require financing for your property purchase in Portugal, I will assist with the documentation and procedures required for the transaction and coordinate with the Portuguese bank or mortgage provider throughout the process.
Currency exchange for property purchases
If you are purchasing property with funds held in a currency other than euros, I will guide you through the currency conversion process and, where appropriate, coordinate with specialist foreign exchange providers, helping you plan the transfer of the funds required for your property purchase in Portugal.
